- Paid as a contractor
- Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and insurance
- Flexible for both company and contractor
- Typically, good for project-based or hourly consulting
🔹 W-2 Employee (Full-time or Part-time)
- Contractor hired as an employee of your company
- Your company withholds taxes and may provide benefits
- Can be:
- Full-time W-2 (standard employment, usually 30–40 hrs./week with benefits)
- Part-time W-2 (fewer hours, may or may not include benefits)
🔹 Corp-to-Corp (C2C)
- 2G Data Group, LLC hired as a corporate partner
- Contractor is paid by 2G Data Group, LLC
- Common in IT consulting when C2C subcontracting is needed
